One of the recent movies that had created decent hype in recent times with its interesting posters and promos happened to be the multistarrer flick Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayulu, with three young guns of Tollywood and the sultry siren Shriya Saran in lead roles, and directed by debutant Indrasena, Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayulu review.

Nara Rohit is given a case of finding a hijacked flight with many passengers including cricketers, and Sudheer Babu is given a complaint by a kid of a missing home, while the city also witnesses another kid gone missing. Now Nara Rohit receives a call from Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayulu (Sree Vishnu) demanding that air hostess Neelima (Shriya) must be cooperating with him and that they must kill 300 criminals or else he will kill passengers one after the other. What happens when Nara Rohit and the team find Sree Vishnu, and whether Sudheer found the missing home and the kid, and what was Sree Vishnu's mission is what the movie is all about.

Nara Rohit gives a very monotonous performance playing a cop for the umpteenth time, while Sudheer Babu is seen in an insignificant role, and is totally wasted. A talented actor like Sree Vishnu has been exploited with a poor role with weird looks and getups, and completely getting underutilized. Shriya Saran looks good, and that's it, as she neither gets to act nor to sizzle as she does in her other flicks.

Mark K Robin's background score is loud and jarring, and none of his songs make an impact. S Venkat and Naveen Yadav's cinematography is the saving grace of this boring and unengaging entertainer. Shashank Mali's editing is pathetic as the movie is poorly cut with extreme drags and no connect. Director Indrasena has made his debut with an interesting plot, with one character playing havoc with multiple people, and different stories running in parallel, but sadly none of the stories are appealing, as all of them are weak and poorly narrated, with no connection between them.

The multilinear narrative does not help as the screenplay is poorly structured and filled with boring and uninspiring performances from Nara Rohit and Shriya Saran, and Sree Vishnu is made to ham throughout the movie in the excuse of a different role. The first half moves like different short films chopped and mixed together while the second half gets even more boring with a pathetic finale. Music and editing turn out to be the biggest damagers of the already boring flick with some decent stunning visuals and rich production values. All said, Indrasena has wasted a good cast and a decent plot with a poorly written screenplay that neither engages nor entertains.
