After the average result of Oka Kshanam, Allu Sirish is back on screen this time with the remake of an old coming of age comedy entertainer from Malayalam, ABCD American born confused Desi. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net ABCD review.

Allu Sirish and Barath play cousins who are spoilt and they lead a carefree Life in the United States and then Allu Sirish's father decides to teach them a lesson and sends them to India in the name of vacation. He then blocks all cards and access to money and what happens to the American born Telugu boys and whether they came of age ultimately is what ABCD is all about.

Allu Sirish is adequate and has slightly improved his expressions though he has a long way to go in terms of acting. Barath guarantees fun and laughter. Rushkar Dillon is pretty and balances glam and acting. The rest of the cast including Nagendra Babu and Kota Srinivasa Rao is adequate. Allu Sirish has a long way to go as during emotional scenes and some humorous scenes, his dialogue modulation falls flat. Rushkar Dillon's acting is compensated with her glamour and some close-up shots.

Judah Sandhya's background score is adequate and none of his songs impress. The cinematography doesn't have much scope in this lackluster outing while Navin Nooli's editing is a letdown. The team could have focused more on normal frames rather than being rushed ones. The editing is also not proper as we can see songs are popping up out of nowhere.  The screenplay is too slow and it tests the patience of the audience.

Director Sanjeev Reddy makes his debut with ABCD, and though a safe bet Remake, has messed with the Making. Adding unnecessary elements in the name of humor and improvisation from original, Sanjeev has turned the movie into a mess, and added to that Allu Sirish's poor performance has also impacted the audience engagement. More than the first half, the second half drags even more, ultimately making ABCD a half baked and badly made remake.

Allu Sirish, Rukshar Dhillon, Nagendra BabuA bad remake that tests your patience.
