After the Godzilla reboot of 2014, five years later, here's the next installment to the monster universe, with more of action and thrills Godzilla: King of monsters. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Godzilla King of monsters review.

The movie begins with the depiction of people acknowledging the existence of monstrous creatures and post Godzilla's San Francisco conflict with MUTOs,  paleobiologist Emma Russell (Vera Farmiga) develops Orca, a machine which enables auditory communication with them subsequently helping human survival. Ex-colonel Alan Jonah (Charles Dance) and his group take her and her daughter Madison (Millie Bobby Brown) and now she has to team with husband Mark (Kyle Chandler) to rescue, but they later find Alan and team plan to awaken King Ghidorah, a predator and Godzilla's nemesis. What happens when Godzilla and Ghidorah have a conflict and was humanity saved by Emma is what Godzilla King of monsters is all about.

Vera Farmiga is impressive as Emma and delivers her emotions perfectly, while Millie Bobby Brown makes a cute presence. Charles Dance oozes subtle menace while Kyle Chandler is adequate. The rest of the cast is predominantly overshadowed by the Godzilla and Ghidorah. Most of the characters are a perfect fit into Godzilla's Big shoes. However, we must credit the main characters as they totally carry the movie themselves.

Bear McCreary delivers a stunning background score that sends chills down the spine while Lawrence Sher's cinematography is top-notch, capturing the CG generated Godzilla and Ghidorah in all glory. Editing by Roger Barton, Richard Pearson, and Bob Ducsay is perfect. Visual Effects deserve special applause as we could see more Godzilla this time. In the 2014 version, there was a less screen space for Godzilla. But now it has been rectified.

Michael Dougherty comes with an interesting sequel to the 2014 version of Godzilla and with few pivotal characters like Emma played by Vera Farmiga, he makes the perfect moves leading to the big sequence. The way he builds the screenplay towards the arrival of the monsters and their conflicts and the ultimate confrontation between Godzilla and Ghidorah is impressively made. While the movie takes less time to get into the point which is impressive the latter half of the movie offers plenty of goosebumps moments. With stunning CG, pulsating background score and an impressive screenplay, Godzilla King of monsters is set to rule the box office.
