Story

Actor Naveen Polishetty has made his entry as a hero with the movie Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya which had created enough curiosity with its unique promotions and peculiar trailers and visuals. With a completely new team and an interesting theme, Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya has released today. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya review.

The movie begins in Madhya Pradesh and moves to three years post that where Sai Srinivas Athreya is shown as a small time detective and he has a female assistant. Sai Srinivas gets framed in a murder case and lands in jail where he comes across another case which he tries to resolve. As he begins his investigation how he was able to come out resolving both cases is what the movie is all about.

Star Performance

Naveen Polishetty is aptly cast as the detective with his unique ways of solving mysteries, and Shruti is perfect as the assistant. Archana is adequate and Sandeep is good as the suspect. The rest of the cast do not have much to do.

Techinical Team

Mark K Robin's background score is good, while the songs don't impress, and the cinematography by Sunny Kurapati is top notch presenting the movie in a stylish and uber cool manner while the editing by Amit Tripathi could have been better.

Analysis

Debutant Swaroop RSJ has taken an interesting premise but the problem lies with the relatively lesser known cast ,and more focus on style than substance. Though the director begins interestingly, the lack of pace and the way in which the mystery is unveiled, the predictability, and the screenplay drags play spoilsport. Add to that the poor performances of some characters also affect the movie. Despite good acting by Naveen Polishetty, the movie fails due to bad making and screenplay that does not engage.
