Samantha is back on screen after numerous hits last year, with the remake of Korean superhit Miss Granny and has teamed up with her Jabardasth director Nandini Reddy for Oh Baby. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Oh Baby review.

Baby (Lakshmi) and her husband Rajendra Prasad take care of a college canteen, and Naga Shaurya is working in the same college as a coordinator. Situations lead to the arrival of Jagapathi Babu who transforms Baby into the young version of Baby. Now she faces a lot oh situations including Naga Shaurya falling in love with her. What happens to Baby, did she reveal the truth to everyone and did she return to her original age is what the movie is all about.

Samantha owns the movie with her bubbly and cute performance. She's a livewire on screen and generates fireworks with her stunning performance be it in humorous or emotional sequences. Veteran Lakshmi is excellent with her histrionic abilities, while Rajendra Prasad and Rao Ramesh are impressive. Naga Shaurya is very good in his minor role.

Mickey J Meyer gives a pleasant background score and of his songs, Aakasam lona, Changubhala, and Oh Baby title song are good. Cinematography by Richard Prasad is top notch making Oh Baby a colorful experience and editing by Junaid Siddiq is good for most parts. The writing in the second half could have been better by avoiding some unwanted cliches.

After Kalyana Vaibhogame Nandini Reddy is back to directing films and has joined hands with her Jabardasth heroine Samantha for Oh Baby. They've taken up an interesting premise and have delivered an interesting remake. While retaining the theme of the original, Nandini Reddy has adapted it to Tollywood sensibilities perfectly. First half moves in a fun way with Baby's fun encounters and the second half is more of emotional baggage where the film slightly drags. However, Samantha makes sure it's a terrific entertainer with her absolutely adorable and arresting, fun filled act and supported by Nandini Reddy's screenplay, Mickey's good music and technical finesse Oh Baby is a must watch fun movie.
