Actress Aishwarya Rajesh makes her debut in Tollywood with the remake of her very own Christmas 2018 Tamil hit Kanaa, titled as kausalya Krishnamurthy and directed by remake specialist Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Kausalya Krishnamurthy review.
Kausalya's (Aishwarya Rajesh) father Krishnamurthy (Rajendra Prasad) is an ardent cricket fan and naturally, Kausalya develops liking and passion for cricket and aspires to be a cricketer for Indian team despite social stigma and challenges. As she crosses hurdles and gets into the squad for Indian cricket team with Krishnamurthy struggling to pay his farming loans, was Kausalya able to play for India and was she able to showcase the troubles faced by farmers in India is what Kausalya Krishnamurthy is all about.
Aishwarya Rajesh looks every inch a cricketer and as a girl passionate towards the game she's impressive with her intense performance. Rajendra Prasad as the doting father who loses it all yet wishes to see his daughter winning is terrific while Siva Karthikeyan plays a Powerful cameo. Karthik Raju, Jhansi and the rest of the cast are adequate.
Dhibu Ninan Thomas delivers a terrific BGM and of his songs, Mudabanthi and Rakasi are good. Cinematography by Andrew has captured the cricket matches well and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is crisp.
Director Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao has made a faithful remake of Kanaa and the best part was retaining Aishwarya Rajesh in lead role as she delivers perfectly and is a live wire on screen with her terrific act as a passionate cricketer. The movie perfectly depicts the plight of farmers as well as the struggles of an aspiring female cricketer, and balances both, delivering a lovely message. With beautiful performance by Aishwarya Rajesh, lovely music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and a perfect adaptation of Kanaa screenplay by Bheemaneni, Kausalya Krishnamurthy is a good movie that deserves a watch.
Producer relies totally on Anushka Anushka Shetty who was last seen in 'Bhaagamathie' has recently signed two projects and is back to her acting career in full swing. She is now confident of being a commercial actress after losing some weight. But so far, no official word has come through.
