Story:
After delivering blockbuster movies with the biggest of stars like Superstar mahesh babu, jr ntr and Ramcharan, the top production house of tollywood Mythri movie Makers has come up with an interesting small flick that has been catching the attention of many audiences in recent times - Mathu Vadalara. Babu Mohan is a courier guy, and as he is upset with the way his life progresses, he decides to cheat his
customers, and as he chooses to steal from an apartment, a lady passes away in the robbery location. What follows after this unexpected incident, and was Babu the murderer, if no, how he escapes forms the crux of Mathu Vadalara.
Performances:
Debutant Sri
simha is impressive and his histrionics are very good, and
satya akkala is the entertainer of the
movie with his hilarious act and comic timing.
vennela kishore is good in his variety role, and
brahmaji and Vidyullekha are aptly cast. The rest of the cast including Athulya and
naresh are adequate.
Music and Technical Departments:
Kaal Bhairava's background score keeps the momentum going and builds the tension as well as entertains in humorous episodes, and cinematography by
suresh Sarangam captures the tense moments well. Editing by Karthika
srinivas makes the
movie gripping.
Analysis:
Debutant Ritesh Ranna has come
up with an interesting theme and has delivered a
winner with a wacky concept. As the
movie starts itself you are able to connect to the protagonist and empathize with him, and once he takes extreme steps to get into a mess, everything that follows is ultimate entertainment with a perfect mix of humor and thrills. Though there are logical loopholes,
mathu vadalara is a perfect fun entertainer for the weekend, with impressive act from debutant Sri
simha and hilarious performances by the supporting cast. All said,
mathu vadalara is a welcome debut from Ritesh Ranna who's here to stay, delivering a year-end surprise.
