Story:
After the disastrous result of srinivasa kalyanam, crazy star nithiin is back teaming with director venky Kudumula and Lucky charm rashmika mandanna for Bheeshma. Here's team ap Herald's exclusive first on net bheeshma review.
At one end, bheeshma organics CEO ananth nag is searching a heir for him and at another end we have bachelor bheeshma (Nithiin) trying to get committed and trying to woo rashmika Mandanna. Situations bring him into connect with bheeshma organics and now to win his love he also has to take on bheeshma organics competitor Raghavan (Jisshu Sengupta). Was bheeshma successful in his mission is what the movie is all about.
Performances:
nithiin delivers an entertaining and energetic performance and impresses in comedy, romance and dance besides emoting well. rashmika is cute and gives a lovable act. Jisshu Sengupta is cliched while the rest of the cast including Ananth nag, Sampath, naresh are adequate and vennela kishore entertains well.
Technicalities:
Mahati swara Sagar's background music is good and of his songs singles song and whattey beauty are impressive. Cinematographer by Sai sriram makes the movie colorful and editing by naveen Nooli is taut.
Analysis:
After the success of chalo venky Kudumula is back after three years with his second directorial bheeshma teaming with nithiin and his chalo girl rashmika mandanna and has delivered a fun entertainer that works. While the first half moves with love and fun moments and a predictable interval twist, the second half is action plus comedy and entertains well. nithiin is terrific with his energy and performance and keeps audience engaged despite the ordinary plot and venky Kudumula places some fun moments here and there and with adequate mass moments too he gets to score well. All said nithiin is back on track with bheeshma which is sure to entertain and deserves a watch.
Verdict: bheeshma is Nithiin's perfect comeback innings that entertains.
