Ongole Gitta Review: Story
A ten years kid called White [Ram] comes to Ongole mirchi yard with the aim to become market yard chairman. Adikesavulu [Prakash Raj] with full of negative thoughts inside but appeared to be leader outside ... he is current market yard chairman, also happened to be father of beautiful daughter Sandhya [Kriti]. Ram's past is connected with Adikesavulu, he wants to take revenge and show true colour of Adikeshavulu to mirchi yard people. What is the past of Ram, how its connected to Adikeshavulu life and position? Did he take revenge and exposed grey side of Adikeshavulu ? What happened to love tale between Ram 'n' Kriti? are to be seen on the sliver screen.
Ongole Gitta Review: Star Performances
Ram has stood to his tittle as energetic star yet again, giving best performance as White or Dhorabababu in the film, Ram entertains with his dances mass attitude in every dialogue he says and his chemistry with kirti is interesting to watch, Prakash Raj has delivered outstanding work as Adikeshavulu, balancing the grey shades which his character had in the film, His role is equal to hero and he stands as one of the assets for the flick, kriti is mesmerizing on screen, she looks beautiful with raw sex appeal as Sandhya. She has a charm with expressive eyes, decent dance skills which pulls towards her.
Kishore Das,Raghu Babu,Ali has given the entertainment in the film. Abhimanya singh, Ahuti Prasad, prabhu,and Ramaprabha has made their presence felt even with the short roles given to them.
Ongole Gitta Review: Direction, Music & Technical Aspects
Director Bhaskar has bounced back from "Orange" film in terms of his screenplay and direction skills. Bhaskar has over comes all mistakes, his past film which clearly visible on screen, he has maintained crispy screenplay which turns as positive point. Mani sharma is turning out to back bone of every film these days and his BGS is highlight in the flick G.V.Prakash music is nice and couple of songs sounded really good. Cinematography by Venkatesh is fine. He has filmed songs and mirchi yard scenes in natural way, which looked good.production values also seemed alright.
Ongole Gitta Review: Analysis
Ongole Gitta is an out and out mass entertainer with racy screenplay which including good performance by the leads and star cast in the film. When coming into drawback of the film, the story is week and kind of predictable at times. Taking up a single point story line and trying hard to fill the run-time of regular Telugu film will test your patience's at some levels.
First half of the film is filled with major induction of all character and three songs, couple of twists. Intelligent character of Ram is shown, along with multiple shades of Prakash Raj, cute love track between Ram and Kirti is nice and their chemistry is lovely on screen with some well composed fights, dances and funny comedy by Kishore Das as 'Pavuram' will entertain you with flow of the film.
Second half is the major disappointing part of the film, the complete story is reveled. After this direction has tried really hard to fill in the remaining part to complete the film. Direction has tried to cover up throwing couple of comedy tracks by Ali, Raghubabu and even Ram acting in couple of drunken scenes are funny to watch. A better climax might have helped the film in second half to finish on good note at the end of the day there are not countable scenes which sticks in audience minds and even the mass element disturbs making it less connectivity to general audience.
