Kollywood is having a bad period where good movies and critically acclaimed movies are still suffering without a satellite release. We reported about the list of movies which are still inside the box as they never got a satellite release.
On other hand, Ajith's 'Vedalam' has been grabbed by Jaya TV even before its release. The satellite rights was sold yesterday. The movie features Ajith and Shrutihaasan in lead roles and is directed by 'Veeram' Siva. The technical team comprises of Vetri for cinematography and Antony L Ruben for cuts. Kabir Singh, Rahul Dev, Lakshmi Menon, Mayil Saamy, 'Naan Kadavul' Rajendran, Ashwin Kakumanu, Vidyuraman are part of the cast.

The teaser has already made an impact and it has crossed over 5 Million views. The songs were released yesterday night and they were also a huge success. With everything going on a smooth sail, the satellite rights issue has also went in favour of the production team.
Inside sources revealed us that Jaya TV has purchased the movie for a huge price and the exact price was not disclosed by the team. It has to be noted that Ajith's 'Arrambam' was also purchased by Jaya TV earlier.
