List of Rules enforced for Nadigar Sangam elections
• The
Nadigar sangam elections will take place on Sundar (October
18th) at Saint Ebbas
School, Mylapore.
• Justice
E.Padmanaban who has been appointed as the presiding officer has made all the
arrangements. He has enforced certain rules.
•
Strictly no canvassing of votes in and around the election booth.
• The
voters should come with their ID cards. Those who don't have ID cards will not
be permitted inside the premises.The ID card must be related with Nadigar
sangam.
• As 60
contestants are participating on two sides, only 1 agent per contestant will be
allowed inside.
•
Separate queue will be provided for people who come out of Chennai. They will
be provided first preference.
• The
election will start by early morning 7am and end by 5pm.
• Mobile
Phones are strictly prohibited inside the premises.
• Ballot
Boxes will be shown to agents before they are sealed. After the elections, the
counting will begin in front of the agents.
• Only
contestants and agents will be allowed inside while counting happens.
• The
counting will be recorded in Video to avoid mishap.
• Soon after the counting ends, the results will be announced.
