The entire drama which was holding up Kollywood fraternity has finally ended. However there were lots of emotions conveyed before the elections. Lots of blame game happened between two parties and even till the last date before election.
In the end, just like the famous saying, 'Truth always prevail', the victory was with Vishal's Pandavar ani. Karthi contested for post of treasurer against incumbent treasures SSR Kannan, won by a huge margin of 413 votes. This is the biggest margin considering all other posts.

After winning the elections, Actor Karthi met the press by midnight 1am and he said, "To be honest, I don't have any words to say now. Because most of them were already spoken by our new President Nassar and General secretary Vishal. First of all I want to thank Judge E.padmanaban for fair elections.
This is what we have been looking for. I also want to thank everyone who came to vote. I also wanted to thank everyone who voted and never voted. I know I am shouldering a big responsibility. But I am ready for it. My first step will be to take complete database of all actors."
