His foundation is already working on clean water in Africa. He silently visited Chennai and Bangalore in August 2013 and he says “I've beenmeeting people and hearing their stories. I love it here in India,“
Richard Gere who belief in Tibetan Buddhist traditions has been visiting India supporting Tibet freedom movement. He even met PM Narendra Modi in Jan this year in Delhi for half an hour. He gifted Modi flowers and Tibetan scarf.
