Mega Prince Varun Tej's latest offering, Kanche is heading towards being a safe venture in Overseas. The movie backed by good reviews in Overseas had received good reception from the audience there. When the last report of Rentrack came in, the movie had amassed $82K by Friday.
By the end of all the pooling, the movie may collect $100K by Friday which indicates the movie is heading towards safety zone. Small films are often not received well by Overseas audience but attempting a film of different genre worked in favour of the movie. Also Krish has good audience in Overseas for attempting critically acclaimed film.
On the other side, the movie is going strong at the box office backed by the Dussehra holidays advantage. But the talk back home is not up to the mark which may impact the film as the festival advantage ends. The final result of the film will depend on how it holds up in the working days. Vedam is the biggest commercial hit in Krish's career. We will have to see if the movie manages to cross it.
