'Trisha Illana Nayanthara' is produced by Cameo Films and was distributed by K.E.Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner. The movie already made more than enough profits.

The movie features G.V.Prakash and Anandhi in lead roles and debutante director Aadhik directed the venture. The director recently met Kamalhaasan and he kept a request to Kamalhaasan to provide comments on his movie. He also took photos with him.
But a leading daily has made the news in another way and conveyed the message that Aadhik was going to direct Kamal and he has narrated the script. Aadhik has apologized to Kamalhaasan for this false news. He wrote a letter to Kamal which reads as,
"Kamal sir is a role model for me as well as my father. We met him just as a token of respect. I just had a fan moment with him and when I bid adieu, I got his blessings and requested him to watch the movie. This news was portrayed in a wrong manner and even though Kamal sir never reacted to this news, I wanted to apologize for this false news."
