Debutante Rajesh.M.Selva who is a former associate of Kamalhaasan has directed the movie 'Thoongavanam'. Trisha has done the female lead. The supporting cast includes artists like Kishore, Asha Sarath, Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini, Yugee Sethu and Sampath.
Ghibran has composed music. The technical team includes Shan Mohammed for editing and Sanu Varghese for cinematography. The project is funded by Kamalhaasan, S.Chandrahasan, VC Praveen, Bajju Gopalan under Raajkamal Films international and Sri Gokulam Movies banner.
The makers have recently locked the release date. Yesterday evening the makers made an official confirmation that the movie will release on November 6th and will have premiere shows on November 5th.
It has to be noted that Kamalhaasan's birthday falls on November 7th and it is going to be a double bonanza for fans of Kamalhaasan. The censor formalities will be completed soon.
