Kona Venkat and Srinu Vaitla are warring once again. An English Newspaper today reported that Kona Venkat is thinking on the lines to file a defamation case on Srinu Vaitla. He is planning to file a defamation case for 10 Crore alleging that his script submitted for Bruce Lee was not used for the movie. Kona Venkat's name was put in Bruce Lee credits as Script writer.
Now Kona says his name is damaged due to the movie failure and so is filing a defamation case on Vaitla. Producer DVV Danayya is also taking Kona's side in this issue. He will also be the key witness in this case as he has the script submitted by Kona before hand. Srinu Vaitla and Kona Venkat parted ways for Aagadu after Vaitla did not give proper credits for Kona Venkat in Baadshah.
However Ram Charan mediated between them and got them together for Bruce Lee. But that seem to be a patchy affair now. Srinu Vaitla's career is at cross roads after Bruce Lee failure, his wife Roopa Vaitla filing a harassment case and now this defamation case by Kona Venkat. All the problems both in professional and personal fronts seem to have come at a time for Vaitla
Vaitla now have to downgrade himself to next grade actors to give a chance to his career. According to rumour mills, he is reportedly toying the idea of making Dhee-2 with Manchu Vishnu as his next project. This is an intelligent step as it will be seen as a sequel to a successful project than as a film with a lesser star hero for Vaitla. Dhee is the biggest hit in Vishnu and Vaitla's career back then.
