Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra were married yesterday. The 35 year old half spinner and 31 year old actress were in a long term relationship and yesterday both of them entered wedlock. The wedding function took place on a grand scale.
A grand wedding reception has been scheduled on November 1st where families of both houses and eminent celebrities are expected to attend this reception. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to grace the occasion.
After getting married, Harbhajan spoke to media. He said, "I firmly believe in God and I have high hopes that he has given me a happy life with Geeta Basra. We never made any plans of honeymoon as I wanted to focus on my cricketing career.
My bowling against South Africa in ODI series has given me complete satisfaction. I wanted to get a place in test squad as I am completely fit right now. Geetha also supports my decision."
