Deepika Padukone predominantly appears in Bollywood movies. She started her career in Himesh Reshammiya's music video "Naam Hai Tera" in 2005. She later played role of protagonist in Kannada movie 'Aishwarya'. She got the big break through when she did female lead in Farah Khan's 'Om Shanti Om'. 


She did dual roles in that project. Later she made some renowned performances in movies like 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Chandni Chowk to China', 'Love Aaj Kal' and so on. The actress was last seen in the critically acclaimed 'Piku' and she anticipates release of 'Tamasha' and 'Bajirao Mastani'. Both the movies will be releasing in short space for Deepika. 


During revealing video of 'Wat Wat Wat' song from her forthcoming movie 'Tamasha' she said she is selfish as an actor. During the event the actress said, "We all work hard to achieve our goals. I too work hard for every movie. I wante to have some space to do it. I am selfish as an actor and this year has been my best. 


'Piku' already earned me a good name and now I have 'Tamasha' and 'Bajirao Mastani' in pipeline. Speaking about 'Tamasha', it is something not the usual kinda movie. Each character's mood will be shown on an unique note."
