It looks like a very dull weekend at the Telugu box office. There are three releases this week in Telugu — Colours Swathi's Tripura, dubbing film Trisha ledha Nayantara and a small film - Red Alert. Trisha Ledha Nayantara released on Thursday itself. The talk and reviews of the film are not at all heartening but the film is doing decent than its talk as it is an adult comedy.
Colours Swathi's Tripura which is projected as the sequel for highly successful Geethanjali. Despite the appeal could not bring better openings. The makers are on a lower side in the publicity front, and that had a big effect on the movie openings. The movie is getting average reviews and it may work out for the film.
The last release, Red Alert is a complete washout. The movie which released in just handful of theaters did not manage even bare minimum occupancy any where. Trade analysts say Tripura may pick up over the weekend. But all these films are likely to be washout once Akhil releases on 11th and so this weekend is extremely crucial for them.
