'Naaigal Jaakirathai' fame Sakthi Soundar Rajan is back with a 'Horror-Thriller' genre and the movie is titled as 'Miruthan'. 'Jayam' Ravi who is riding on success of 'Thani Oruvan' is doing the male lead role.
Michael Rayyaapan under Global Infotainment (P) Ltd bank-rolls the project. The technical team includes Imman for Music, S.Venkatesh for cinematography and S.S.Moorthy for Art direction. JK Venkat Raman handles the cuts. The movie is already labelled as first Zombie apocalypse movie in Tamil.
The team shot most of the portions in Ooty and Chennai. During the last schedule a huge set was erected worth Rs.1.5 Crores in Binny Mills. Lakshmi Menon is doing the female lead role in this project. Now the movie is confirmed for a Pongal release.
Already Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai and Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2 have been confirmed for Pongal. Even Surya's '24' and STR's 'Idhu Namma Aalu' are looking for a release date. But everything depends on the completion of post-production.
