Film Production in Telugu film industry had become like a headless chicken. Producers are being forced to spend money mindlessly knowingly or unknowingly. These extravagant budgets are leading to big trouble and even the above average to hit films are also heading towards losses in many areas. The best example for this is the recent Akhil.
A whopping budget was invested on the new comer's film and the producer have made a pre-release business of 47 Crore which is on par with star heroes. The movie is now finding it tough even to touch 20 Crore figure. So a huge loss is guaranteed now. This is one of the prime reasons why the Top Producers like Allu Aravind, Aswini Dutt once have slowed down and some even stopped Production.
One more example we look at is the next project of Victory Venkatesh. The makers, a new comers, Sitara Creations have given a whopping 1.5 Crore to rope in Nayantara for the film. Nayantara may be a busy heroine in Tamil, but she barely have any offers here. She is not a happening heroine for our audience and she will never justify the 1.5 Crore cheque given to her.
Daggubati compound is known to produce shrewd Producers like Ramanaidu and Suresh Babu. But Venkatesh from the same family could not stop this move which is nothing but endangering the Producers.
