This is an upcoming romantic comedy featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Imtiaz Ali directs the venture. The first choice to do in this movie was Anushka Sharma. However the actress turned down the offer as she is not interested to do it. Sources said she was reluctant not to pair with Ranbir after 'Bombay Velvet' debacle.

We are not kidding. This is a serious miss from Anushka Sharma. The Karan Johar's script has knocked doors of Anushka Sharma and she has completely let it go. The next place it landed was on doorstep of Alia Bhatt. Alia Bhatt got the biggest break through with that movie.

Don't get confused. Of course Anushka was the female lead. But initially she rejected the offer just like the other days too. But some how she felt she is missing a big chance and has approached Rajkumar Hirani's office the next day and got the chance. The movie became a 300 Crore grosser and also was labelled as cult classic.
