'Sowcarpettai' is once again a horror movie made in Kollywood. Srikanth and Raai Laxmi did the lead roles. It is a tri-lingual and apart from Tamil version, the movie will be releasing as ‘Begum Beta’ in Telugu and ‘Tantra Shakthi’ in Hindi. Srikanth will be seen in dual roles. Vivek, Saravanan, Sampath Raj, Suman, Kovai Sarala, Vadivukkarasi and Singam Puli are part of the cast.
John Max and Jones produces the movie under their production house Shalom Studios. Vadivudayan who earlier directed 'Thambi Vettothi Sundaram' has directed this venture as his second project. Sri Thenandal Films has bagged the distribution rights.
The Audio of the movie was released recently along with a trailer. The social media showed some response for the trailer. The makers clearly feel this as the right time to release and now the makers have confirmed the release date.
The movie will hit screens on 27th of November. Thenandal Films who are down and under with two flops is looking to make a come back with this horror movie. Let's keep our fingers crossed till the release date.
