Superstar Mahesh Babu is trying to expand his market in Tamil Nadu for a long time. His recent blockbuster, Srimanthudu was dubbed in to Tamil as Selvandhan but it failed to impress the audience there. Mahesh felt it would be impossible to make a mark on Tamil audience with dubbed films and so decided to make Brahmotsavam as a bilingual.
However it now comes as a huge disappointment for him as the makers told him it will not be possible due to time constraints. Making a bilingual will force the film to miss Summer-2016 release and so they dropped the idea now and are going to dub the film in Tamil as in the case of Srimanthudu
But to make up for it some how, Mahesh Babu decided to dub his character in his own voice for the Tamil version too. Brahmotsavam third schedule will begin in RFC from 29th of this month. The schedule will go on there till 9th and then they will shift to Ooty from 10th. A 20 days schedule is planned in Ooty for the film.
Srikanth Addala who delivered a super hit to Mahesh with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is hoping to recreate the magic once again. The movie is being planned for Summer-2016 release. The film will be most likely the first star release in Summer. Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha are playing the female leads in this film. Potluri Vara Prasad will be producing the film on his PVP Cinemas banner. Mickey J Meyer is the music composer.
