Incessant rains has affected day to day lives of Chennai people. The rains have caused more losses and people are still suffering from swamps and water logs around their residences. Most parts never even have power supply. The normal life style is completely affected.
Nadigar Sangam has already provided their support towards the public. They have undertaken rehabilitation measures along with few NGOs. They carry out these relief measures along with help of an NGO named 'The Environmentalist Foundation of India'.
Chennai corporation is also working round the clock to make the city run on its feet once again. Just now the sun shine is back and now before that shine gets persistent, the rains are back once again. The rains have started to hit Chennai from Saturday evening.
Now Kollywood actors, Dhanush, Vishal, Surya and Karthi have provided relief fund to Chief Minister through Nadigar sangam . Dhanush has donated a sum of Rs.5 lakhs while Vishal has donated Rs.10 lakhs.Surya and Karthi have provided a huge sum of Rs.25 lakhs each.
