Do not read too much in to the title. It is only that Nagarjuna and Karthi's upcoming Multistarer film, Oopiri is being canned in Chanchalguda Jail. The movie unit is canning an important scene on Karthi, Ali and Praveen there. Nagarjuna is not present in the shoot. The makers have just completed an item song on Nora Fatehi.
Initial Plans are on to release the movie for February 5th. Even though it is a dull season, the makers are still opting for it as they are confident of the product. Also Soggade Chinni Nayana releasing for Sankranthi forced February release for the movie. The entire shooting will be wrapped up by this month end and the makers will begin promotions after Sankranthi.
Oopiri is the official remake of French film, Untouchables. The director had made some changes to the script to suit our nativity. Nagarjuna is seen as a patient suffering from mysterious disease while Karthi is his care taker. The movie comes with a tagline, Celebration of Life. The first look posters of the movie released couple of months ago got a overwhelming response.
