Dhanush had a huge blockbuster in Tamil with the movie 'Velai Illa Pattathaari'. So this time he plans to release 'Thangamagan' on parallel note in Telugu. The Telugu version is titled as 'Nava Manmadhudu'. Velraj is making his second directorial outing with this movie.

The trailer ends with Dhanush saying, 'Tamil Naatla Tamilan Jeipaan'. Ironically when Dhanush says Tamilan Jeyipaan, the director name appears in English. The trailer itself looks liked a mega serial.
