'Eeti' is a rare gem in Kollywood. Sports movies are common in Bollywood. But these are not common in Kollywood. In Bollywood we have, 'Chak De India', 'Mary Kom', 'Bhaag Milka Bhaag' and lots more. So 'Eeti' is a movie which has to be celebrated.
The project is directed by debutante Ravi Arasu who was a former assistant to Director Vetrimaaran. Michael Rayappan on behalf of Global Infotainment Pvt Ltd produces the venture. Actress Sri Divya paired with Atharvaa for the first time.

On technical forefront, Cinematography was handled by Saravanan Abhimanyu. Jaya prakash, Azhagam Perumal, Aadukalam Naren are part of the cast. The movie which released on 11th opened to positive critics. The success of the movie is taking it to new levels.
The movie will now speak Hindi. Shahid Kapoor will be doing the lead role. He reprises role of Atharvaa Murali. Similarly in Telugu, actor Nithin will be doing the male lead. The same Tamil producers Michael Rayappan are producing the movie in Hindi version too.
