Udhayanidhi Stalin is not having a great time in 2015. He had one release on April 2nd with the movie 'Nanbenda'. It was one of the worst movies ever made in Kollywood. So he shifted gears and signed his next movie titled 'Gethu'.
The movie is directed by 'Maan Karate' fame Thirukumaran and it is produced by Udhayanidhi himself under the banner Red Giant Movies. Harris Jayaraj scored tunes. 'Mynaa' Sukumar took care of cinematography. Raja Mohan is the editor. Amy Jackson pairs with Udhayanidhi for the first time.
'Paandiya Naadu' fame Vikranth was doing role of antagonist for the . Sathyaraj and Karunakaran are also part of the cast. Sathyaraj essays role of Udhayanidhi's father and Karunakaran reprises role of a constable. The movie was initially planned to be released on 24th December.
But due to Chennai floods, the release was postponed. The movie will now release on February. Now on the same day, the makers are planning to release the Audio. The music will be released on 25th and Udhayanidhi Stalin himself tweeted and confirmed the news.
