Sonam Kapoor recently completed shooting for biopic of flight attendant Neerja Bhanot. Sonam Kapoor essays role of Pan America flight attendant who lost her life trying to save the life of passengers from on board terrorists.
This incident is a real one which took place on 5th September 1986. Prashant Gupta will be seen in male lead along with Sonam in this movie. Ram Madhvani directs the project and Atul Kasbekar produces it under Fox Star Studios banner.
The trailer was released yesterday and it showed some intense performance from Sonam Kapoor. Neerja is a middle class girl who loved her job and even though her mother wanted to quit the job, she never did. The 23 year old Neerja sacrificed herself in order to save 359 lives. The trailer also showed Shabana Azmi who essayed role of a caring mother.
Sonam Kapoor is getting praises all over due to this trailer. After success of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', it seems Sonam Kapoor clearly has a winner with 'Neerja'. The trailer was edited neatly. The movie will hit screens on February 19th 2016.
