1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Ranking at number one position is the Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film is a journey of one man who takes a lost speech-impaired child way back to her home in Pakistan. Releasing on July 17th 2015, the film made it to the box office with a lifetime total of 320 crores, beating many records on its way.
2. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Though the movie turns out to be ranking the second top of the highest grosser list, it still is considered skeptical for its hit-or-flop dilemma from the movie critics. The film’s box office collection mounted to 207 crores with a worldwide collection of 400 crores. No doubt, Salman ruled the ticket booth twice this year.
3. Tanu Weds Manu Returns
The sequel to the Tanu Weds Manu franchise is certainly a mind-blowing hit of the year, in terms of its revenue. The quirky Jodi of Maddy and Kangana Ranaut were shot to fame after the movie, particularly increasing Kangana’s popularity manifold. Hitting the screens on May 22, it entered the 100-crore club on its third week.
