Four films have seen light today. Two straight — Seethamma Andhalu Ramayya Sitralu and Lachchimdeviki O Lekkundhi and Two dubbing — Kalavathi and Nenu Rowdy Ne are the four releases. Kalavathi seem to have emerged as a winner with getting better openings of all the four movies followed by Seethamma Andhalu Ramayya Sitralu.
Kalavathi was sold for 80 Lakhs in Nizam and is expected to collect 40 Lakhs on its first day itself. In fact, Nenu Rowdy Ne has better talk of all the four releases but the movie barely got any theaters and so is lagging behind. So Kalavathi has good talk in all the remaining films. The movie is expected to consolidate further by weekend.
Straight films — Seethamma Andhalu Ramayya Sitralu and Lachchimdeviki O Lekkundhi seem to have disappointing talk and reviews. We will have to see how they do over the weekend. The scenario may be advantage to Sankranthi releases (Mostly Soggade Chinni Nayana) and this horror comedy, Kalavathi, according to the trade experts.
