'Visaranai' is bankrolled by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Films as a joint venture. The movie is directed by Vetrimaaran and the movie conveys some hard hitting message on capital punishment. This is Vetrimaaran's come back movie after 'Aadukalam' which released in 2012.
Actor Samuthirakani, 'Attakathi' Dinesh and 'Aadukalam' Ramdoss are doing the lead roles. The movie was shown at 72nd International Venice Film Festival and the movie even bagged an award.
The movie even got praises from Director AL Vijay, Mysskin and Actress Taapsee. Now the movie will have a release on February 5th. Recently a special show was arranged for Kamalhaasan and after watching the movie, the actor took Twitter to praise the movie.
He praised the movie in Tamil and that is why it became so special. He tweeted, "நல்ல சினிமாவின் தாக்கத்தை வெற்றிமாறனின் மனதில் பதித்துச்சென்ற என் பாலுமஹேந்திராவிற்கு நன்றி நேற்று விசாரணை படம் பார்த்து வியந்தேன்"
