For past few days, there was a huge buzz in social media that Vijay's 'Theri' teaser had more number of likes and views. The records were shattered and everyone celebrated it. This is the first Kollywood movie to break such records. Now we hear that all these likes and views are just a sham.
The teaser was released in a channel with less amount of subscribers. Initially even before the number of views, the number of likes were increased drastically. Also the team decided to remove the video themselves to get cheap attention. Later they restored it themselves.
Now an inside source told us, "The teaser was already made with a motive to break Ajith's 'Vedalam' record. All arrangements were made earlier to get more number of likes. But still the team was unhappy with the response and the video was removed and again restored."
Another source said, "Last time for 'Puli' similar thing happened for teaser. It was released earlier to Vijay's birthday and the number of likes and views were 'humongous'. But in the end, the movie was pathetic. The lead actor should realize that likes doesn't matter and content-driven movies alone matter."
