'Sowkarpettai' features Srikanth and Raai Laxmi in lead roles. Apart from Tamil, the movie will be releasing as ‘Shivaganga’ in Telugu and ‘Tantra Shakthi’ in Hindi. The movie also features strong cast of actors like, Saravanan, Sampath Raj, Suman, Kovai Sarala, Vadivukarasi and Singam Puli.
John Max and Jones produces the movie under their production house Shalom Studios. Vadivudayaan who earlier directed 'Thambi Vettoti Sundaram' is directing this venture. Sri Thenandal Films already bagged the distribution rights for this movie. This is yet again a horror movie.
Now we hear from sources that the movie will release on 26th of this month. The movie is already labelled as 'A' and censors were persistent with that. The movie has lots of glamour and violence and they said 'U/A' cannot be given.
As the movie is rated 'A', satellite rights is also impossible. The makers worked hard and even approached revising committee to get 'U/A'. But the revising committee also stood with the censor certification.
