During 1979 Balu Mahendra directed a hit movie titled Aliyaadha Kolangal. The movie featured Prathap Pothan and Shobha in the lead roles. Currently a film titled Aliyaadha Kolangal is shaped up and Archana is doing lead role in this movie once again.
She gave an interview about the movie. The movie was produced by her friend and her brother and they insisted her to act in the movie. She has acted and the shoot was completed recently. She said, she dedicates the movie to her master Late.Balu Mahendra.
She has acted as a middle aged lady who meets her college friends after 20 years and shares their unforgettable memories. After many years she has acted as a heroine. She said only if the story is good she will sign more projects.
The movie director has insisted to share her experience after 40 years. Prakash Raj is also doing crucial role in this movie. Post production works are happening in full swing and the movie will be released soon.
