It is nothing new for Kollywood artists to use Rajini movie titles. Dhanush started the trend from 'Pollathavan' and most of the actors are using Rajini movie titles. However very few of them do justice to the title and rest of them emerge as disasters. Now the latest to join the list is Jiiva's 'Pokkiri Raja'.
These days publicity of the movie matters. To search a movie, one directly 'Googles' it. However if you search 'Pokkiri Raja', all you get is a Malayalam movie and Rajinikanth's yesteryear movie.
P.T.Selvakumar who produced this movie worked as a Journalist and then as a PRO. But still now he never leaked any stills of the movie to any press or media. This made actor Jiiva so angry.
At the same time, Rajini fans were also angry as their favourite actor's movie has been spoiled with same title. One of the Rajini fan clubs has also planned to meet Rajini in order to ensure that his titles are not being reused.
