The Million dollar question which is popping on everyone's mind is, how on earth Producers mint money in Crores ? But most of them don't know it is like walking on a rope as there is no way for recovery if fell down. The more they invest money, the more they take risk. The benefits depends on the result of the movie. Many producers who have made small budget movies have tasted success and they have been uplifted.
At the same time, many other producers who have established themselves have lost their path mid way. Famous Producer Bellamokonda Suresh is right now facing huge financial Crisis and he is still unable to walk out of it. As per sources, he has lost heaps of money with movies like Alludu Seenu, Rabhasa and Jabardasth. Interestingly all the movies had female lead Samantha ! Also Samantha's glamour quotient were too high on all those movies.
But her skin show alone never saved these movies. Recently he tried to recover from the losses by producing 'Seepdunnodu'. But all he got was a failure in return. He was completely shattered and fed up with all those legal notices from banks and other financiers who gave money for interest. Right now he has sold his mansion and cleared dues. But he stays at a Luxury apartment in Hotel Park Hyatt. He is so vigorous to walk out this financial mess.
He is right now in discussion with Tollywood's top stars as he hopes they can bail him out of the trouble. But right now none of them are ready to do a movie with him. Similarly famous Producer Aascar Ravichandran who produced Shankar's magnum opus 'I' is right now in a crunch situation. For Audio launch, he brought Arnold from Hollywood and he created sensation.
But right now Indian Overseas Bank has grabbed his properties as he never repaid the debts. In fact Shankar's 'I' was not a colossal flop. But still the producer never took any returns as the investment was too high. AM Ratnam was yet another producer who had a tough time with persistent failures. But thankfully he recovered from losses as Actor Ajith gave him call sheet dates. Producers are definitely not safe as they invest huge. But they need cooperation from actors during crisis times, else they have to face a harsh reality.
