Jayakrishna who is an Indian producer is known for his works in Tollywood and few Tamil movies too. He produced movies such as 'Mana Voori Pandavulu' in 1978 and he also bagged Filmfare Award for Best Film - Telugu. He passed away few minutes back due to old age ailments.
The renowned producer already worked with some renowned names in industry and he was the one who gave Chiranjeevi his first salary. He started his career as a make up artist. Vijaya krishna is a close associate of Krishnam Raju and he produced several movies later.
His other renowned projects include Manthri Gari Viyyankudu 1983, Vivaha Bhojanambu, Muddula Manavaralu, Seetaramulu, Raagaleela, Neeku Naaku Pellanta, Krishnarjunulu, 420 etc. Even in Tamil he produced 'Aalavanthaan'. His first salary to Chiranjeevi was Rs.1,1116.
