The 63rd National Awards were announced and 'The Head Hunter' won the Best Film Award in the Wancho language. The idea for this film got its initial spark from the state where Nilanjan Datta grew up. So what is this 'Wancho'? They are the tribe that lives in the Patkai hills of Arunachal Prandesh.

The tribe lives in the Patkai hills of Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh. The movie helps in bringing some unknown language and culture into focus. It also won the best film award in Wancho language at National Film Awards. This discovery of cultures is one of the most interesting aspects.

The movie has some theme related to tribes about losing their way home and how much troubles they face in getting back. The entire movie revolves between an Old tribal and a young educated Government officer. The director Nilanjan said he has found more Wancho youngsters working at Mumbai International Airport.

Two girls Nina Wangsu and Akom Arangham helped the director as language instructors. Niranjanan was from Ranchi and he said he always needed to make a movie on his mother tongue Kurukh.
