Singanamala Ramesh, who sometime back shot to fame with his films with top stars and became hot producer is now in news for all wrong reasons. Everyone remember films like Maa Annayya,Veede, Janaki Weds Sriram,Khaleja, Komaram Puli the moment Ramesh's name is mentioned.
However now Ramesh is sentenced to jail by Kurnool Court over cheque bounce case. It is comingout that Ramesh borrowed Rs 15 lakhs from Rajasekhar Reddy of Banaganapally.
But when he asked him to return his money, he started avoiding him and finally issued two cheques. But much to the shock of Rajasekhar both bounced back. With Ramesh not picking his calls he lodged police complaint and approached court.
Court after hearing the case sentenced Ramesh to one year jail. This is not the first time Ramesh was sent to jail. CID arrested him in 2011 for his alleged links in Maddelacheruvu Suri's murder. Ramesh and Kalyan were both arrested earlier by CID and both are now out on bail.
