The trend of female centric films is doing high in Bollywood and most of the movies are praised by critics. But Anushka Sharma has a complete point of view. She said movies should not be differentiated based on gender and only storyline matters as key to a good movie.

Anushka Sharma was recently roped in as a brand ambassador for a famous food brand. She said, "I don't think a movie has to be labelled as 'Male-centric' or 'Female centric'. It should be known for the script. That would be nice and viable. NH10 would have done well even if it was done by somebody else.

It is the story which appealed to the audience." Anushka Sharma walked the ramp as model and she made her debut with the movie 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' in 2008. Her journey to a leading actress was not a smooth one.

She had lots of major setbacks with movies like Patiala House, Badmaash Company and 2015's Bombay Velvet. But female centric movies like Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, PK, NH10, Bombay Velvet or Dil Dhadakne Do lifted her career.
