2016 has not been a great one for Telugu Film Industry. Most of the movies have tanked at the Box-office and even more ended up as Below average. Even lead actors movies failed miserably. Trade pundits feel that audience expect something out of the box rather than routine commercial entertainer.

4. Junior NTR (Nannaku Prematho)
Junior NTR's 25th movie has been a dream one as the movie minted 50 Crores at Box-office. Despite negative criticism and mixed reviews, the movie survived at Box-office. Junior NTR is looking forward to carry the same victory with 'Janatha Garage'.
3. Pawan Kalyan (Sardaar Gabbar Singh)
Pawan Kalyan's 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' has to be the only movie to score more than 50 Crores and taste failure. The pre-release business was done in a huge way and despite minting more than 50 Crores, the movie was a failure. Investors have invested huge and they struggled to get back even their returns.
2. Allu Arjun (Sarrainodu)
'Sarrainodu' remained as Hat-trick for Allu Arjun and the movie entered 50 Crore club on 6th day of its run. The movie also ended up as career best for Allu Arjun.
1. Nagarjuna Akkineni (Oopiri, Soggade Chinni Nayana)
Here comes the Box-Office King ! With two sound success, Nagarjuna garu has struck 'Gold' at Box-Office. Both the movies were labelled as blockbusters and the success is something beyond extraordinary.
Apart from these we have 'Nenu Sailaja', 'Express Raja', 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' which did a decent job at Box-Office and also got positive reviews.
