When Mega Star Chiranjeevi's 150th film was launched in a grand manner sometime back in the presence of mega family members,fans and movie lovers felt extremely happy. They thought that finally after much delay,the film's regular shoot will start soon.
Film titled Kattilantodu directed by VV.Vinayak is the remake of Tamil hit Katti directed by Murugadoss. Ram Charan is producing the film on Konidela Productions banner. Even as filmmakers are planning to start the regular shoot from July, they are haunted by Narasimha Rao who has been warning that he will not allow the film to take off unless he is compensated for the story and given credit as writer.
It is known that Narasimha Rao fought a lost battle with Murugadoss,Vijay and Lycaa production house claiming that the story belongs to him. He remained silent in a helpless manner but after knowing that Chiranjeevi is doing the remake,he started raising his head.
Even then Chiranjeevi decided to solve the matter and got ready to pay compensation and also give credit as story writer but he shocked with his demand of Rs 3crs. His frequent press statements issuing warnings made Chiranjeevi furious.
Finally Chiranjeevi decided enough of it and Ram Charan's Konidela Productions will slap case on him and Cine Workers association asking them to solve the matter with the original makers and not with those who are remaking the film. Film's regular shoot will start from July and filmmakers will start song shoot in other locations.Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the film which is slated for grand release during Sankranthi next year.
