Superstar Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam is heading towards becoming a big disaster. The trade is expected to lose at least 40 Crore on this film making it second biggest disaster in the entire South India after Rajinikanth's Lingaa. The trade is demanding compensation from the makers for this immense loss.

The other day, a meeting between PVP Cinemas and the distributors happened in Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce office at Hyderabad. The makers have put a proposal that they will give some refund in case the recovery is less than 60%. There will be no refund if the recovery is more than 60%.

The talks are happening on this and the quantum of compensation is not decided. It will be decided once the run of the film is complete. Probably on June 2nd when A..Aa releases. Mahesh Babu will also have to share this compensation as his G.Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd is also a partner in the production. The actor however left all this on PVP, and went on a holiday to London along with his family. He will be staying their for two weeks. Once he comes back, he will begin the shooting of his first ever bilingual film to be directed AR Murugadoss.
