Beggars are always looked down by people and some even insult them. Even though Government try to rehabilitate beggars,they oppose the move as they feel they are well off begging on the streets.
Now popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam created sensation by turning beggar.He sang more than 25 songs dressed in shoddy outfits as a old man and singing with harmonium for three hours.
He sang at various locations in Mumbai for more than a hour and the six minute video which he released is creating sensation. Sonu sharing his experiences as a beggar said people didnot recognise his voice and only complimented him for his good voice.
He said he as fearing that people may recognise and identify him which would be an embarrassment.He said there were no body guards around him. He said he sang for one hour behind Chandan (theatre in Mumbai), then one hour in front of Chandan, one hour at Four Bungalows (area in Mumbai).

He said it was not easy sitting in the sun and dust and added he sang wide range of songs. The video titled ‘The Roadside Ustaad’ already got 3.3 million views on youtube. Sonu Nigam recently sang 'Dard' for Aishwarya Rai's Sarabjit.
