Nandamuri Balakrishna is an Indian film actor, and politician, known for his works exclusively in the Telugu cinema. He has recently completed first schedule of his 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni in Telugu and the shooting took place in Morocco, where the production unit has canned action episodes between the protagonist and antagonist Kabir Bedi. At present, the shooting is about to get over and the director Balakrishna will soon fly to USA, but not for film shooting or any other personal work. It is for a good cause, the news revealed.

Balakrishna will often tour several cities in USA and will interact with his fans and several Telugu Associations. He will also take part in charity dinners. Balakrishna is doing all these things just to collect funds for an Indo-American cancer Hospital for the cancer patients suffering.

Balakrishna is often meeting Telugu Association groups and fans in abroad to increase awareness and to request greater participation from the NRI Community to help in eradicating cancer. Every time, he is trying to increase the awareness NRIs and Balakrishna's fans are giving their best to support the cause for eradicating cancer.

Legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao had initiated the cancer hospital as a Non Profit Organization with help from various doctors and sponsors. Actually, it is first in the country to have both research and hospital facilities in India.

Recently, Gautamiputra Satakarni director Krish donated National Award prize money to Basavatarakam Hospital, where his mother had undergone treatment for cancer. Good to see everyone supporting the generous cause for the needs of cancer patients.
