The Failure of 'Brahmotsavam' has never affected Mahesh Babu much. The actor initially took complete responsibility of the failure and he said he will be speaking to all distributors regarding compensation. Now the actor has came forward to congratulate another movie.

Mahesh Babu has praised 'Okka Ammayi Thappa' trailer. The movie features Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menen in lead roles. The movie is gearing up for a release on June 10th and censor formalities will be completed by end of this week. However release date will be confirmed once the censor certification is completed.
Rajasimha Tadinada is making his debut as director with this venture. He has worked as a writer for many Hit movies earlier. He has shown theatrical trailer of the movie to Mahesh Babu and Mahesh appreciated the debut director.
Mahesh Babu also asked more details about the story and he also praised the quality of visual effects in the trailer. Director Rajasimha Tadinada said, "I have known Mahesh Babu garu since Takkari Donga. He loved the trailer and appreciated me. I am very grateful to him."
