Tollywood Jakkana Rajamouli won many awards and rewards when he mesmerised all with his magnum opus Baahubali The Beginning. He did Tollywood proud when his film Baahubali won the best film of the year 2015 at national level. He even went on to win the highest honour Padmasri.
Baahubali was screened at Cannes Film Festival and also showing its power at various international film festivals. Now it is comingout that Rajamouli is also in contention for prestigious Indian of the year award hosted by CNN News 18 group every year.
Along with him, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are also in race. From South India only Rajamouli is competing for the award. The winner will be selected through online poll.
Rajamouli is currently busy with Baahubali The Conclusion which is progressing at brisk pace in Hyderabad. Film is slated for grand release on April 14,2017.
